Lithium-ion batteries are commonly found in many devices at home and work, but issues like overheating, overcharging, or damage can cause fires. These fires often result from thermal runaway (unstable chemical reactions) or thermal propagation (fire spreading between cells).
This fire extinguisher is built to stop both risks. It quickly cools the battery to interrupt thermal runaway and provides thermal insulation, or “Fireblock,” to prevent the fire from spreading between cells. FIREBLOCK LITHIUM Gel is highly effective in managing these hazards.
