Measure the Inside Diameter Measure the inside diameter in millimetres (mm) of the end that connects to the floor tool (see Gallery photo). This is more important than the outside diameter. Be precise — small differences can cause poor fit and reduced performance.
Common Sizes The most common sizes are 32mm and 35mm, but other sizes do exist.
Adjustable Options If you are unsure about the exact size, you might want to choose an adjustable or universal floor tool, which can fit a range of hose or wand sizes.
